Plans and Billings

1. How does the 14 days trial work?

Sign up with your GitHub, Bitbucket or Google account (no credit card required), and enjoy the full functionalities of Codacy for 14 days. After the trial period, you can either upgrade to a paid plan to enjoy Codacy with unlimited private repositories, or do nothing and stick with the free plan for open source projects.


2. What is the best plan for me?

We currently offer 3 different plans:

3. Can I change my plan or cancel anytime?

Yes, your plan can be changed or canceled anytime. 


4. I’m part of an organization. How do I upgrade my plan?

If you are part of a team and you want to upgrade your subscription, you should do that via the Organizations tab and select the organization you wish to upgrade. 




5. How many users do I need to have in my organization?

A user is each team member that contributes to the project and whose commits shall be reviewed by Codacy, as well as any team member that wants to have access to the code analysis results on the Codacy UI. Your organization should have as many users as your projects have contributors.

6. How can I manage my billing details?

Either you have a single or an organization plan, just go to Your Account (or Organizations) -> Plans and Billing -> Manage Your Billing. There you will be redirected to our payment provider portal where you can edit your details and view your invoices. 


7. Do you offer student and non-profit plans?

We are more than happy to provide students and teaching staff with a free account valid for up to 12 months. Nonprofit organizations are entitled to a discount. Send an email from your school or work email address to In your email, please provide copies of documentation to verify your eligibility. We’ll evaluate your request, and get back to you.
